AWCPA PE Teacher Named Best in State
Andi McCarthy - Middle School PE Teacher of the Year
Andi McCarthy is the COAHPERD Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year. Her PE program promotes individual fitness and lifetime activities in her students.
As a three-year teacher leader and mentor, McCarthy also provides professional development for PE teachers in APS. She will go on to compete for the award at the Central District regional level, which spans nine states.
Congratulations Ms. McCarthy!

Library Month
| April is Library MONTH at the AWCPA Library Media Center. Come celebrate by committing to read a variety of books. Pick up a Reading Passport and once you have filled it out with books you have read, you can win a prize! There are 100 prize packs to give away and 10 participants will be entered to win a cool bracelet. If you need new books to fill out your passport, don’t forget to take advantage of our Buy One Get One Free book fair the week of April 19th!! All reading passports are due on April 30th. |
